Engaging students, instructors and entrepreneurs in an intensive one-week curriculum on medicines development to the market.
The 14th Summer School on Medicines will engage around 60 students, teachers and entrepreneurs from all over the world in an intensive one-week curriculum that covers the process of research, development and innovation in medicines, from target discovery to market . This is a partnership established over the years between groups from the University of Montreal, Canada, The Canadian Mother-Child Cohort (CAMCO), Canada, Paul Sabatier III, University, Toulose, France, University of Barcelona, Spain, and University of São Paulo (FMRP). The event rotates between these institutions and in 2024 we will have the pleasure of hosting the 14th edition of the Summer School on Medicines (SSM14), for the second time at the Ribeirão Preto Medical School. In this edition, the schoolfollows a model similar to the Advanced Schools in terms of duration, number of participants, instructors and very in-depth content, where students will participate in interactive lectures, case studies, visits to research centers at USP Ribeirão, companies and local innovative startups.
